"Swamp Songs" is the second full-length studio album written and produced by americana/folk singer-songwriter Sally Vee. It houses twelve tracks celebrating nature and our connection to it - specifically, Chakchiuma Swamp at Lee Tartt Nature Preserve.
Ambient sounds from Chakchiuma Swamp including birds, tree frogs, and cicadas complement introspective lyrics, dulcet harmonies, finger-picking guitar, and whimsical percussion.
A full-color 28-page booklet that accompanies the album includes song lyrics, pictures, short stories, and information about Lee Tartt Nature Preserve.
"Swamp Songs" was recorded, engineered, and mastered by David Moore at Merriams Shoals Studio.

Album sales will be donated directly to Friends of Chakchiuma Swamp 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to help fund miscellaneous needs at Lee Tartt Nature Preserve in Grenada, Mississippi. Things like boardwalk repairs, trail maintenance, tools, and educational programs for Mississippi youth will all benefit from your album purchase!
I tried to be as eco-friendly as possible with this project, so your Swamp Songs album and booklet will arrive in a compostable padded mailer. Even if you don't have a compost bin, no worries! The mailer will still break down in the trash. But don't throw it away right away! These mailers are reusable. If you cut across the top of the mailer with scissors carefully, you'll see a second sticky strip that will allow you to reuse the mailer. Please note if you order multiple copies of the album, they may be shipped in a box instead of a padded mailer.
*Digital downloads:
When you order here online, your checkout page will have an option to "Add a Note". In that space, leave your email address and I will email you mp3 files of the album tunes so you can have a digital version if you'd like!

I love all y'all. Go outside.
